Pulling horses have a longstanding connection to agriculture and the South Shore Exhibition. Heavy draft horses were once essential to farming, forestry, and transportation, and their strength and working ability remain an important part of our agricultural heritage.

Today, pulling horse competitions continue that tradition, bringing together skilled teamsters and powerful teams while giving

spectators an opportunity to experience a piece of rural histor that has been celebrated for generations.
