THAT CONCERNS YOU
Our Spring I.L.T. vaccinatiOn work will be done between June 3 and June 28, 2013. Applications therefore, MUST be received here at the Truro Office by May 10, 2013. Late applications may not be able to be scheduled.
Please note the charge per bird is twenty-five cents.
Any bird to be exhibited at NOVA SCOTIA SPRING SHOWS in 2013 MUST be wearing an approved wingband that has been recorded during 2012 Vaccination Period.
All flocks must be vaccinated 30 days prior to any show and should be four (4) weeks of age or older for vaccination. Flocks containing birds younger than four weeks old or eggs set for incubation at the time of inspection, WILL NOT BE VACCINATED. Eggs set two weeks after vaccination will allow the hatch after the Quarantine Period.
Please note that turkeys must be wing banded, but do not have to be vaccinated; cost is 20 cents. Waterfowl do not require either.
You will have to sign the QUARATINE ORDER to have your birds vaccinated. There will be NO MOVEMENT OR TRADING of birds during the Quarantine Period.
