FADED BLUE is amongst the fastest up and coming bands on the East Coast. 2006-2007 was extremely busy for the band, performing over 200 live shows! Including shows with Illscarlett, Alert the Medic, Fear Zero, Jimmy Swift Band, MIR, Coley, Alphi Zappacosta, Steven Bowers, Nicknameless, Sleep to Dream, and Hal Bruce.

FADED BLUE recorded their first full-length album 'The Blue Mountain Gate' at Feswick Productions in the summer of 2006. FB has also been included in such events as Contact East 07', ECMA 07'/08', Privateers Days 07', Jack Frost Festival 08', and Music Nova Scotia Week 06', 07' to name a few. The boys also made TV appearances on such shows as Breakfast Television where they were featured twice with their hit single 'So Blind' and title track 'Blue Mountain Gate'. (You Tube) Faded Blue also showed their support at the charity event "Christmas Daddies Telethon 06'" where they wrote and performed their Christmas song 'Here & Gone' (You Tube). Throughout 2006 and 2007 Faded Blue received heavy airplay all over the Maritimes with their singles 'So Blind', 'Shout', and 'Jam In A'. Two of those songs spent many weeks in the top 10 of the nationally syndicated radio show 'The East Coast Count Down' (www.eastcoastcountdown.com). Another highlight for the band was 'So Blind' being announced as one of Q104's Top 25 Homegrown releases of 2006!

The band has a very busy future ahead of them. To kick off 2008 the boys released their smash hit 'Turn it Up' to radio stations across Canada to help promote their highly anticipated second album in September 08'. Two of the four tracks completed have two very special guests, with 'Change' featuring good friend Ian Sherwood on sax, and 'One More Line' featuring JP Cormier on fiddle.

Faded Blue will be rocking at this year's South Shore Exhibition on Friday, July 25th. Also, check out their websites (www.fadedbluerocks.com & www.fadedblue.ca) for all the details!!!
