South Shore Exhibition - 50 Exhibition Dr., Bridgewater, Nova Scotia

Thursday, July 28
Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Famer's
The SPINNEY BROTHERS

From the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada, the Spinney Brothers are comprised of Allan Spinney , Rick Spinney, Gary Dalrymple and Darryl Hebb.
Brothers Allan and Rick debuted their band in 1992, showcasing a tight brother duet vocal style that was immediately recognized for it's energetic and distinctive sound.

The cornerstone of the Spinney Brothers musical identity is the sound of traditional, southern-flavoured bluegrass music. The first generation bluegrass legends have been an important musical influence, yet their music is equally shaped by their personal lives and local heritage. By incorporating original material, which draws from various sources, the Spinney Brothers effortlessly intertwine the past with the present.

The Spinney Brothers believe in freshness and excitement of traditional bluegrass music. Brother duet singing, backed by supportive and complimentary instrumentation, is the foundation of their tasteful and recognizable sound. Give a listen, and you are sure to be entertained

Group of the Year Doc Walker.

Over their decade-plus time together Doc Walker have earned the title of ‘the hardest working Country band in Canada’ the old fashioned way, through relentless perseverance — constantly honing their chops as a songwriting and a performing unit.

Their perseverance has netted them multiple top-10 and top-5 hits on Canadian Radio, and some of the Canadian Music Industry’s highest awards, including six CCMA’s in 2008 alone, as well as the 2009 Juno for Country Recording of the Year for their last record, Beautiful Life.

They have won Canadian Country Music Awards and had radio hits with the songs "I Am Ready" and "The Show is Free" from the 2003 album Everyone Aboard. In 2001 they released the album Curve. "Coming Home" was released to radio in June 2009, as the lead single from the group's 6th studio album, "Go", released in early September 2009.

Doc Walker is committed to doing whatever it takes to build a devoted audience, delivering their energetic brand of rockin' country to the music lovers of this nation.

In the trailer for Tara Oram's CMT television show The Tara Diaries she humbly tells
viewers "I finished sixth on Canadian Idol and then nothing happened."

Her efforts on Idol and The Tara Diaries have led to the exciting next chapter in her adventure, the release of her free, fun and uplifting debut album Chasing The Sun. Tara Oram’s first single "Fly Girl" celebrates her small town roots, all wrapped up in the positive message of shooting for your dreams. Her second single, "538 Stars"
"I can't wait to get up there with a full band and perform these songs. Every one of these songs, are me. I've really learned to appreciate the fact that I get to do music for a living. But I'm doing what I really love to do and not a lot of people get to do that.
Tara's got spirit, unshakeable drive, her own television show and now, her own album.
There's only one more frontier for Tara to chase after, the road.
